Week 2 (Part 1)

Monday, January 9th- My Great Gramma Knocke made a set of these coasters for each of her great-grandchildren and gave them to us for Christmas when we were younger. She was 86 when she made them. I still have the note she enclosed. Today is her birthday and she would have been 106 years old.
Tuesday, January 10th- It has been unseasonably warm. When we got home Ava and I went for a walk. She had to bring "Big Baby" with her.
Wednesday, January 11th- My rose bushes and azaleas are getting confused and are budding in January!!

Thursday, January 12th- After a few days of warm temperatures, Kenosha got its first snow fall of the season! I love that you can see the snow falling in this picture. Ava loved being in the snow.

Week 1

For awhile I've been hearing about the 365 Photo Challenge. Basically, you challenge yourself to capture a moment in your life each day for the year. It encourages you to take photos of things you typically might not photograph. I started on January 1st and am hoping to stick with it.

January 1st, 2012- Nice new year surprise! About 11:30, the Kenosha Water Utility worker knocked on our door to tell us our water would be shut off in 15-30 minutes and it would be off for several hours. I didn't realize the water shut off was across the street and two houses down. I quick put on the telefoto lens and took a picture of the three workers shutting our water off.

January 2nd, 2012- Dr. A fixing up her babies.
January 3rd, 2012- Practicing v sits for gymnastics.

January 4th, 2012- Popping bubble wrap from a package.
January 5th, 2012- Little Mommy is ALWAYS taking care of her babies. She now has three, they are properly named: Little Baby, Medium Baby and Big Baby.
January 6th, 2012- I started a new book.
January 7th, 2012- The much loved soy peppermint latte. Ava and I spent the morning doing errands and visiting with Grammy and Grampy Zarletti.
January 8th, 2012- After we put Ava down for a nap I made a cup of hot chocolate. This was my fuel to contine the mission to clean, declutter and begin packing away so our house can be listed in the next couple of month. EEEEEKKKKKK!!!
